About Ms Anna-Belle Tan

Fully Registered Physiotherapist (AHPC, Singapore)

Background & Clinical Approach
Anna-Belle believes that physiotherapy should be a collaborative, comfortable and individualised experience.
She takes time to understand each patient's concerns, goals and lifestyle, working together
with them to develop a treatment and rehabilitation plan that supports a confident return to
the activities that matter to them.
Her approach combines manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, movement retraining and
progressive strengthening, with a strong emphasis on active rehabilitation. She
believes that understanding an injury is an important part of recovery and aims to equip
patients with the knowledge and strategies they need to manage their condition, build
resilience and achieve sustainable improvements in function.
Having personally experienced significant back pain and recurrent
ankle sprains, Anna-Belle
understands how musculoskeletal injuries can affect not only day-to-day function, but also
confidence when returning to exercise and sport. This experience has helped shape her
practical and empathetic approach to rehabilitation.
Anna-Belle has a particular interest in
sports injury
rehabilitation, ankle conditions,
frozen shoulder and post-operative
rehabilitation. Whether helping someone recover from surgery, return to sport after an
injury, or manage
persistent musculoskeletal pain, she aims to provide structured and progressive
rehabilitation tailored to the individual.
Outside the clinic, Anna-Belle enjoys going to the gym, staying active with her growing
toddler, and trying different sports. Her interest in movement and exercise also helps her
better understand the physical demands of different activities and how rehabilitation can be
tailored towards a safe and confident return to them.
