A Personal Approach: Doctor & Athlete
As an active athlete and competitive triathlete in endurance sports, Dr Foo brings a
grounded and insightful perspective to his practice.
He has personally experienced what it means to be a patient, having suffered a complete grade 3 ACL tear with a meniscus tear during a football match as a student athlete, followed by reconstruction surgery and months of rehabilitation.
Going through the process of recovery, from the precision of the surgery to the science behind the rehab protocols, sparked a deep curiosity that ultimately led him to pursue a career in orthopaedic sports surgery. That personal journey gives him an understanding of what patients truly need, not just clinically, but emotionally.
This firsthand knowledge enables him to deliver
compassionate, tailored care that resonates with both athletes and
individuals from all walks of life. He understands the fears, hopes, and drive to return stronger that his patients carry with them.
Whether addressing sports injuries or chronic musculoskeletal conditions, he is
committed to helping his patients work toward realising their potential and
achieving their goals for recovery and performance.
